The West Country Way

Officially the WCW takes you from Bristol to Padstow on a 250 mile route via the flats of Somerset and the humps and bumps of Devon and Cornwall. However, the route can also be extended to incorporate route 2 of the NCN taking on the southern sides of Cornwall / Devon with several linking routes taking you back to Bristol. If you are looking for a complete circular tour, and can allow 10 – 12 days, then this option might just be for you.
From Somerset’s finest ciders, to Devon’s finest fudge and Cornwall’s world famous pasties, you’ll need to do some cycling to balance things out! With quaint little villages full of thatched cottages, beautiful English pubs and fantastic hospitality from the locals, you can be certain of a classic English cycle tour. What’s not to like?
